What to Do When You Find a Coin

Every find needs to be verified. Follow these steps to make your claim airtight and get your name on the Ledger of Legends.

Don't Move It

Take a photo of the coin exactly where you found it. Underwater, in the sand, on the reef — wherever it is. This is your proof of discovery.

Document the Dive

Note the dive site name, GPS coordinates if possible, depth, and date. The more detail, the faster we verify your claim.

Read the Coin ID

Every coin has a unique serial number engraved on the edge or back. You'll need this for the claim form below.

Submit Your Claim

Fill out the form below with your info, coin details, and photos. We'll verify your find and reach out within 48 hours.

We cross-reference your coin ID, location, and photos against our records. Every coin is tracked from the moment it goes underwater.

WITHIN 72 HOURS

Confirmation

Once verified, you'll receive a personal message from Jeff or Gunner confirming your find. Your name goes on the Ledger of Legends.

WITHIN 2 WEEKS

Featured

With your permission, your story and photos may be featured on our YouTube channel and social media. The diving world will know your name.
